AAEON's UP Xtreme ARL: A High-Performance AI-Focused Developer Board

AAEON, a renowned producer of sophisticated developer boards with industrial-grade specifications, has announced the release of the UP Xtreme ARL. This new product is an industrial robotics-focused developer board featuring the Intel Core Ultra 200H Series platform, also known as Arrow Lake.

The UP Xtreme ARL delivers up to 97 TOPS AI performance and targets edge AI, industrial robotics, and Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) applications. It has been validated through Intel ESQ (Edge Solution Qualification), ensuring its reliability and scalability for high-performance AI edge computing applications.

Key specifications and capabilities include:

  • Processor and Performance: Intel Core Ultra 7 265H SoC, delivering up to 97 TOPS AI performance using integrated CPU, Intel Arc 140T GPU (Intel DL Boost accelerated), and Intel AI Boost NPU.
  • Graphics and AI: Integrated Intel Arc 140T GPU with 97 TOPS AI, Intel AI Boost NPU with broad software framework support to simplify AI model development.
  • Memory and Storage: Support for dual DDR5 SO-DIMM (up to 96GB or likely more with newer modules per similar platforms), storage via SATA III and multiple NVMe M.2 slots, and expansion with 2x M.2 2280 M-Key slots (PCIe Gen 4 x4) for storage.
