The American Farm Bureau Federation (AFBF) has joined forces with the Food and Ag-ISAC, bolstering the cybersecurity of the food supply chain. This strategic partnership aims to fortify the resilience of the industry, ensuring the safety of our food from farm to fork.
The AFBF, representing farmers and ranchers across the nation, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Food and Ag-ISAC's Industry Association Partner Program. Sam Kieffer, AFBF's Vice President of Public Policy, leads the charge in addressing emerging threats, including cyber risks. Together with the Food and Ag-ISAC, they will enhance cybersecurity within the sector. Members of the AFBF will now have access to weekly threat reports, expert insights, and briefings, enabling them to identify and mitigate cyber risks effectively.
The partnership between the American Farm Bureau Federation and the Food and Ag-ISAC is a significant step towards fortifying cybersecurity within the food and agriculture sector. By combining their expertise and resources, they aim to strengthen the cyber posture of the entire industry, safeguarding our food supply chain.
