Dropzone AI Secures $37 Million Series B Funding for AI-Powered Cybersecurity

Dropzone AI, a leading provider of AI-based cybersecurity solutions, has announced that it has raised $37 million in a Series B funding round. The funding round was led by Theory Ventures, with participation from Madrona, Decibel Ventures, Pioneer Square Labs, and IQT.

The funding will primarily be used to expand Dropzone AI's global sales, marketing, and customer success teams. The company aims to deepen its integration within the cybersecurity ecosystem, enhancing threat detection, operational efficiency, and return on investment (ROI) for security teams.

"We are thrilled to have the support of our investors as we drive a generational shift in cybersecurity with autonomous AI agents," said Edward Wu, Founder and CEO of Dropzone AI. "The change from manpower-bound SOC teams to AI-backed teams is essential, and we are committed to making this a reality."

Dropzone AI's AI-based solution is already enhancing security for over 100 enterprises, including UiPath, Zapier, and Pipe. The company's platform autonomously investigates security alerts, reducing security risks, operational costs, and analyst burnout.

Tomasz Tunguz, General Partner at Theory, expressed his excitement about the investment, saying, "We are excited to double down in the Series B to further accelerate Dropzone's efforts in shaping what's next in AI-native security platforms."

The funding will also be used to develop specialized autonomous AI agents and strengthen ecosystem partnerships and technical integrations to enable compatibility with a broader range of security tools. Dropzone AI's AI SOC analysts have been validated by some of the world's largest enterprises and Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs), and they deliver detailed, high-fidelity alerts within minutes.

Andrew Marsh, Director of Information Security at Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance, attests to Dropzone AI's exceptional performance, saying, "Dropzone AI's AI-based approach has significantly improved our security posture."

Dropzone AI has received recognition from analyst firms like Gartner and Forrester, positioning the company for leadership in AI-powered SOC agents. With this new funding, the company is poised to transform and modernize cybersecurity operations on a global scale.
