Amazon Unveils New Echo, Kindle Scribe Color, and Enhanced Security Devices
Amazon is updating its Echo and Kindle Scribe devices with new features and models. The tech giant is enhancing its home security cameras and doorbells with 4K resolution. Meanwhile, it's introducing the Kindle Scribe Color, a digital version of classic note and sketchbooks, priced at $629.99 and set to launch later in 2025.
Amazon is expanding its Echo lineup with new models. The Echo Dot Max, the cheapest new device at 109.99 euros, is spherical. Up to five Echo Studio or Dot Max devices can be connected to a home cinema system with a subwoofer. The new Echo Studio is more compact and offers powerful sound with 3D audio in Dolby Atmos format. Amazon is also introducing two new Echo models with displays: Echo Show 8 and Echo Show 11.
For a home cinema experience, an external device like Fire TV Stick 4K, Fire TV 4K Max, or Fire TV Cube is required. All new Echos are technically ready for use with Amazon's AI assistant software Alexa+.
Amazon's Kindle Scribe Color, priced at around 649.99 euros, offers a color display for digital note-taking and sketching. The company's Echo devices are being refreshed with new models, including the compact and powerful Echo Studio and the affordable Echo Dot Max. These updates reflect Amazon's commitment to improving its product range and enhancing user experiences.
