Amazon's New 'Add to Delivery' Feature Lets Users Quickly Modify Orders
Amazon has rolled out a new feature, 'add to delivery', allowing users to quickly add items to existing orders. The update, developed by Amazon itself through its Delivery Service Partners Program, is now available for Prime Day.
The 'add to delivery' button, introduced via an update to the Amazon Delivery App, enables users to flexibly add more items to their scheduled orders. This feature is particularly useful for those who may have forgotten to include an item in their initial order or wish to add last-minute purchases.
The new button is available in areas where Amazon offers one-day or two-day delivery. To use it, users simply tap the button, and the item is added to their existing order. No confirmation page is required, making the process seamless and quick. Additionally, an undo button appears if a user accidentally taps the 'add to delivery' button, providing an extra layer of convenience and security.
The 'add to delivery' feature, launched as part of the Prime Day app update, offers users a convenient way to modify their orders. It is currently available in areas with Amazon's one-day or two-day delivery service. This update further enhances Amazon's commitment to providing a smooth and efficient shopping experience for its customers.
