Android Studio receiving a major update, version 3.3, offers over 200 bug fixes

Hear ye, hear ye! Android devs, listen up! Google has unleashed Android Studio 3.3, the shiny new Integrated Development Environment (IDE) for you dudes and dudettes. This bad boy packs over 200 bug fixes, focusing on refinement and top-notch quality.

Jamal Eason, the big cheese of Android Studio, spilled the beans in a blogpost:

"Our aim is to keep Android Studio your solid sidekick in crafting bomb-diggity Android apps. Since the last stable release, Android Studio 3.3 takes care of 200 user-reported bugs. This version also welcomes the official Navigation Editor, enhanced Java compilation, C++ code lint inspections, a snazzy new project wizard, and usability tweaks for each of our performance profilers. Plus, saving emulator snapshots exits 8x faster!"

Android Studio 3.3 is a child of Project Marble, an initiative by the Android Studio team announced in late 2018 during the Android Developer Summit.

"Project Marble is our focus on making Android Studio's fundamental features and flows impeccable, while refining and polishing the user-facing features you adore in your daily app-development workflows," says the Android Squad
