Anticipated DJI Product Lineup Expansion Next Month: Three Novel Devices, Including a 360-Degree Camera Model
DJI: July 2025 could be a hot month for new tech drops
Prepare for a heatwave of tech releases from DJI, if a report from serial leaker Jasper Ellens is to be believed. Ellens, writing at Drone XL, claims that DJI's next moves could include the launch of the Osmo 360, Osmo Nano, and Mic 3 cameras by July 2025 - although it seems they won't all drop at the same time.
First out the gate is the DJI Osmo 360, set to make its debut on July 15, 2025. This could be DJI's response to the GoPro Max or Insta360 X series, offering a 360-degree camera designed for capturing every angle in super-high-definition. The Insta360 X5, currently the crown jewel of 360-degree cameras, is said to have similar performance and specs, so if DJI can match or outdo it, it could blow the competition out of the water.
Next up, the DJI Osmo Nano is rumored to hit the market on July 23, 2025. This compact action camera is tipped to boast a modular design, similar to DJI's Action 2 from 2021. No leaked images have surfaced yet, but online whispers hint that it'll be closely related to the Action 2, rather than a slimmed-down version of DJI's more recent action cameras.
Last but not least, the DJI Mic 3 is expected to be unveiled on July 29, 2025. This audio powerhouse is the follow-up to the popular DJI Mic 2, last year's top wireless mic in our guide. FCC filing documents have suggested the Mic 3's existence, and hinted at a design refresh featuring a new display for the receiver unit. But don't expect a massive overhaul - this is more likely to be a subtle update.
This trio might not be DJI's only announcements for July 2025. Rumors are swirling that the company could also be readying the DJI Mini 5 Pro for a September 2025 release. Following that, there might be more releases later in the year or in early 2026, including the DJI Avata 3 FPS drone and a DJI Neo 2 small entry-level drone.
