Apple Opens New 15,000 Sq. Ft. Music Studio in LA
Apple has opened a new 15,000 square foot Apple Music studio in Los Angeles. The building, marking the tenth anniversary of Apple Music, is a creative campus for artists, equipped with cutting-edge technology. It's not open to the public but may host events in the future.
The new studio boasts a 4,000-square-foot soundstage for live performances and events. It also features two adaptable radio studios and a high-tech 9.2.4 PMC speaker system in the Spatial Audio mixing room. The facility includes state-of-the-art recording studios, artist lounges, and a Dolby Atmos mixing room.
Since its opening, the studio has collaborated with artists like The Weeknd to mix their music in Spatial Audio. His album 'Hurry Up Tomorrow', released in 2025, is a result of this collaboration.
Apple sees the new building as a hub for various activities, hosting interviews, DJ mixes, and events. Although not open to the public, it may host events in the future, making it a significant addition to the city's creative scene.
