Apple Unveils iPhone 16 Series with AI-Powered Features in India
Apple has just lifted the veil on its latest iPhone series, the iPhone 16, at an event in India. The lineup includes the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max, each boasting impressive features and price tags.
The iPhone 16 series introduces Apple Intelligence, a suite of features that includes audio recording, transcription, and summarization, along with enhanced text proofreading and rewriting capabilities. Siri also gets a boost with improved conversational flow. The new iPhones sport design refinements and pack powerful processors optimized for AI, along with improved camera systems.
Pricing starts at ₹79,900 for the iPhone 16 with 128GB, going up to ₹1,44,900 for the iPhone 16 Pro Max with 256GB. The iPhone 16 Plus and iPhone 16 Pro start at ₹89,900 and ₹1,19,900 respectively, all for the 128GB variant. Pre-orders commence at 5:30pm IST on September 13, with sales kicking off on September 20.
The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus come in five colors - Black, White, Pink, Teal, and Ultramarine - with 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch displays. The Pro models offer Desert Titanium, Black, White, and Natural Titanium color options, with screen sizes of 6.3 inches and 6.9 inches respectively.
The iPhone 16 series, along with the new Apple Watch Series 10 and AirPods models, are set to hit the market soon. iOS 18, featuring Apple Intelligence capabilities, will roll out as a free update on September 16. Apple fans can expect a lot of new tech to look forward to in the coming weeks.
