Apple is set to open its latest store, Apple Gangnam, in the heart of Seoul's bustling Gangnam District on March 31, 2023. This new addition to the city's landscape marks Apple's fifth store in South Korea, following the successful launches of Apple Garosugil, Apple Myeongdong, Apple Jamsil at Lotte World Mall, and the Apple Developer Academy and Apple Manufacturing R&D Accelerator in Pohang.

The grand opening of Apple Gangnam will be an exclusive event, with registration opening on March 29 at 8 a.m. Interested attendees can secure their spot by visiting our website.

In line with the global tech giant's commitment to innovation, the version of a popular song will be available exclusively on Apple Music at the opening event.

Besides the music, Apple Gangnam will offer a variety of educational sessions. These include workshops on photo direction, portrait direction, and getting started with Mac, GarageBand, and sketching ideas in Notes. The store will also feature a special Today at Apple session with K-pop group NewJeans.

Attendees can look forward to a special listening session of the group's hit track "OMG (Apple Music Edition)" every hour from 5-7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday evenings. From April 1, music fans can experience a limited-time Pop-Up Studio featuring K-pop group NewJeans and Spatial Audio.

Apple Gangnam, like all Apple facilities, runs on 100 percent renewable energy and is carbon neutral. The store's design incorporates materials sourced from the region, such as tables, a wood feature wall, logo, facade glass, stone walls, and flooring.

Apple's more than 100,000 employees are dedicated to making the best products on earth and to leaving the world better than they found it. Since revolutionising personal technology with the introduction of the Macintosh in 1984, Apple has led the world in innovation with iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, and Apple TV.

The retail team at Apple Gangnam speaks more than a dozen languages, ensuring that all customers can receive support from knowledgeable team members. Apple Gangnam will offer customers a chance to explore Apple's products and services, providing an immersive experience for everyone.

In celebration of Apple Gangnam's opening, customers can listen to a curated Apple Music playlist and explore a bespoke collection of movies and TV series on Apple TV. The store's uniquely designed double-height facade with a gradient frit and mirrored coating treatment promises to be a striking addition to Seoul's skyline.

Apple Pay, which was launched in South Korea last week, is now available in all five Apple Store locations, including Apple Gangnam. This contactless payment service offers a convenient and secure way for customers to make purchases both in-store and online.

As Apple Gangnam prepares to welcome its first customers, it continues the tech giant's mission to bring innovative products and experiences to people around the world.
