Rebuilding Almaty's Digital Landscape: Kazakhtelecom's GPON Revolution

Let's shed light on Kazakhtelecom's ambitious plans to revolutionize the internet experience in Almaty and beyond, leveraging Gigabit-capable Passive Optical Network (GPON) technology.

As Almaty's population continues to swell and the number of online users in apartment buildings surge, communication infrastructure strains under the weight of the digital boom. Realizing the necessity to meet this mounting demand, Kazakhtelecom has geared up to expand its vast network.

Kazakhtelecom's Gigabit Offensive

In line with the operator's strategic vision, the company plans to connect about 5,500 apartments in Almaty to the cutting-edge GPON technology. This move will give high-speed connectivity to no less than 22,000 families, transforming their digital lives.

The GPON revolution doesn't stop at Almaty's doorstep. With an eye on the future, Kazakhtelecom aims to roll out the new technology in 16 significant cities across Kazakhstan, ultimately connecting over 7,000 multi-apartment buildings and around 180,000 families.

A Commitment to Quality and Growth

Commercial Director of the Almaty Region's Retail Business Division of JSC 'Kazakhtelecom', Dinaara Tokkozhin, echoes the company's commitment to delivering quality along with quantity. This year, Kazakhtelecom has committed to enhancing the quality of its services.

Recently, the company's quality control efforts extended to the "Forum Plus" residential complex in Almaty, where Dinaara Tokkozhin met with subscribers to address their concerns and maintain the high-quality standard of the services.
