AQIQAT System Saves Millions, 'Nürly Zher' Probe Finds Unauthorized Spending

The 'AQIQAT' information system has successfully identified overpriced materials in the Public Sector Spending (PSS), leading to significant savings. This is six times more than the amount prevented last year.

The system's enhanced operation is due to the integration of data on domestic producers from the KazNIISA reference book. This has allowed for a more accurate assessment of market prices and exposed overpriced materials.

An investigation into the misuse of funds in the state housing construction program 'Nürly Zher' has been completed. The probe uncovered unauthorized spending of 242.4 billion tenge on construction projects, which has now been prevented. However, details about the head of the Financial Supervision Agency who led the investigation and the completion date of the probe remain unavailable.

The 'AQIQAT' system continues to play a crucial role in identifying and preventing overpriced materials in the PSS. Meanwhile, the investigation into the 'Nürly Zher' program has resulted in the prevention of substantial unjustified expenses, demonstrating the government's commitment to fiscal responsibility.
