Hall 8.0 will now be the central platform for all things professional audio technology and its applications. From here, we'll focusing on the cutting-edge solutions of the future for audio and sound reinforcement.

Vintage Concert Audio Show – taking a trip down memory lane
Last year, the Vintage Concert Audio Show was a nostalgic exhibition of audio history, featuring more than 200 exhibits of Concert Audio history spanning five decades. This year, VCA—Vintage Concert Audio Show & Experience will be collaborating with ISDV—the professional association of the self-employed in the event industry—to bring you a combined stand and a special show that takes you back in time.
The special show will offer a glimpse of the past, with instruments like the first WEM, Vox, and Marshall vocal systems, Martin Modular, Meyer MSL3, Clairbrothers S4, and the first L'Acoustics line array. Additionally, you can catch a daily audio panel, where sound engineers from different eras share stories, reminisce about the technology, and answer questions from the crowd.
The ISDV organizes subsequent panels on labor and social affairs, where discussions on daily rates, bogus self-employment, and the future of the industry take place.
Audio Maker Square and Sound & Recording Lounge
The Audio Maker Square was a hit last year, and it's making a comeback this year. Geared towards the international DIY community, this special area covers everything you need for self-constructing audio equipment. The area is curated by MakeProAudio GmbH and other partners, who also organize Audio Builder Workshops.
The Sound & Recording Lounge follows suit, providing practice-oriented workshops and presentations on music production, spread across an area of approximately 200 square meters. The lounge also features a cafe for discussions on recording-related topics.
