Automatic Top-Off System from Tunze Osmolator Now Available!
In the ever-evolving world of saltwater aquariums, the latest innovation to make waves is the Osmolator 3, an All-In-One (AIO) device produced by Tunze. This new version of the popular automatic freshwater replenishment device is set to revolutionise the way aquarists maintain their tanks.
With a compact design and a focus on safety, the Osmolator 3 operates using low-voltage 12V DC electricity, ensuring a secure environment for both the aquatic life and the aquarist. The device is powered by the Turbelle High-Jet Pump, a pump that boasts a maximum delivery head height of 6.2m (20.34'). Its versatile design includes 1/2 inch and 1/4 inch threads on the suction and pressure sides, respectively, making it compatible with a wide range of plumbing situations.
The Turbelle High-Jet Pump also features built-in dry-run and blockage protection, ensuring long-lasting performance and peace of mind for aquarists. Moreover, the pump is thermally designed for external operation but can also be fully submerged, providing flexibility in tank setup.
The Osmolator 3's compact all-in-one optical sensor houses the control circuitry and detects water level with an impressive accuracy of 0.5mm. This sensor is resistant to air bubbles, deposits, and scratches, ensuring reliable operation. The device also includes an independent thermal safety sensor that stops the pump in the event of overfilling, adding an extra layer of safety.
