Bitdeer Launches High-Efficiency Miners, Boasting up to 14.9 Joules per Terahash (J/TH) Efficiency Rate.
Bitdeer Reveals Highly Efficient SEALMINER A2 Pro Mining Rigs
Bitdeer, headed by Jihan Wu, has unveiled the SEALMINER A2 Pro, a new series of mining rigs boasting energy efficiency of up to 14.9 J/TH. The A2 Pro range sees an upgrade in chips and power supply, offering higher hashrate and enhanced performance.
The new SEALMINER A2 Pro comes in two models—the air-cooled A2 Pro Air and the liquid-cooled A2 Pro Hyd. The A2 Pro Air's energy efficiency stands at 14.9J/TH ±5%, with a hashrate of 255-270 TH/s ±10% and power consumption of 3790-4050 W ±10%. The A2 Pro Hyd boasts a similar energy efficiency level, 14.9J/TH ±5%, but with a higher hashrate of 500-530 TH/s ±10% and a power consumption of 7450-7900 W ±10%.
Bitdeer claims the SEALMINER A2 Pro delivers a breakthrough in energy efficiency, achieving a high efficiency rating of 97%. The A2 Pro Hyd has improved high-temperature operation, operating stably even at inlet temperatures of up to 60°C and outlet temperatures reaching 70°C.
Bitdeer previously announced successful testing of the new SEAL03 mining chip, demonstrating energy efficiency of 9.7 J/TH. Meanwhile, US mining equipment sales are projected to reach $20 billion within the next five years, according to Bernstein.
The SEALMINER A2 Pro offers significant advancements in Bitcoin mining performance compared to previous models and many competitors. Its high hashrate, improved energy efficiency, and advanced hydro-cooling technology contribute to profitability with lower operational costs. Compared to competitors like the MicroBT WhatsMiner M66S++, the A2 Pro Hyd provides a higher hashrate, better energy efficiency, and lower noise levels, all at a more affordable price point.
The SEALMINER A2 Pro announced by Bitdeer, with models A2 Pro Air and A2 Pro Hyd, showcases its strength in data-and-cloud-computing technology with energy efficiencies of up to 14.9 J/TH, setting new standards for gadgets in the tech industry. Bitdeer's investment in advanced cooling technology, such as hydro-cooling, aims to improve operational costs, making Bitcoin mining more profitable for users compared to competitors like the MicroBT WhatsMiner M66S++, offering a better balance of hashrate, energy efficiency, and noise levels at a competitive price.
