Check Point & Wiz Unveil New Cloud Security Solution
Check Point and Wiz have joined forces to launch a new security solution for cloud environments. The combined offering, merging preventive network security and Cloud-Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP), aims to provide businesses with enhanced transparency, precision, and protection in dynamic cloud settings.
The solution, a result of expanded cooperation between the two companies, protects against zero-day attacks using AI-driven detection. It also reduces configuration risks through targeted gateway-level measures. Key to this is the integration of CloudGuard Gateway data into the Wiz platform, offering improved transparency into configurations and risks.
Integration with Check Point's Infinity Threat Exposure Management (CTEM) enables Wiz alerts to be automatically converted into actions on CloudGuard Gateways. This significantly reduces exposure times and enables faster response times through automated processes and optimized defense measures. The solution shifts security from reactive to proactive, stopping attacks early.
Independent tests have proven the effectiveness of Check Point's technologies. They achieved a 100% block rate without false alarms and topped malware and phishing defense benchmarks. Pauline Dornig, Director of Business Development DACH at Wiz, serves as the contact person for the partnership.
