Digital Projection Showcases Innovative LED Videowall and RGB Laser Projector at CEDIA Expo 2025
At this year's CEDIA Expo, Digital Projection is set to unveil its latest advancements in display technology. The event, taking place at booth #2509, will feature a side-by-side comparison of the company's newest projection and dvLED technologies.
The star of the show is the Digital Projection E-Vision 10000i 4K+ RGB Pure Laser Projector. This high-end DLP projector boasts a native 4K resolution (215" diagonal screen projection), utilizing Texas Instruments’ latest High Efficiency Pixel (HEP) 0.8 DMD chip combined with a pure RGB laser light engine. It delivers excellent color performance conforming to Rec. 2020 standard, enhanced contrast, improved grayscale, and avoids typical single-chip DLP color wheel artifacts, making it ideal for cinematic home theater installations requiring precise, vibrant color and dynamic image quality.
In contrast, Digital Projection is also showcasing the Radiance LED Performance Series COB-Flip Chip 4K LED Videowall. Thanks to COB Flip Chip technology, this LED videowall offers a slim cabinet design and significant reductions in power consumption and heat output. With a 1.2mm pixel pitch for native 4K imagery, a contrast ratio of 15,000:1, and an ultra-high 7680 Hz refresh rate, it's perfect for large venues, bright environments, and scalable videowalls.
The comparison between these two technologies takes place in a dedicated light-controlled environment. The Radiance LED videowall, in particular, supports Rec. 2020 color space with 281 trillion colors and offers 1200 nits of brightness. On the other hand, the E-Vision 10000i 4K+ RGB Projector provides 10,000 lumens of brightness and contrast ratios up to 10,000:1.
Radiance LED video walls are versatile for applications ranging from residential theaters to outdoor signage and mission-critical environments. They are modular direct-view LED solutions optimized for large-scale, bright environment viewing and flexible installation, providing high brightness and uniformity but differing in deployment and typical application from the E-Vision 10000i 4K+ RGB Projector, which excels in dedicated home cinema or theater contexts requiring excellent image fidelity on large projection screens.
