Dacia Launches Tough Duster Cargo LCV From £22,995
Dacia introduces the Duster Cargo, a robust and practical light commercial vehicle based on the popular Duster SUV. Starting at £22,995 (ex-VAT), it offers a mild hybrid 130 powertrain with 4x4 capability and terrain control modes.
The Duster Cargo combines SUV style with practicality. It offers 1,149 litres of cargo space and can carry up to 430 kg of payload. For protection, it features a sturdy mesh bulkhead, lashing points, rubber mats, and a removable cover.
Powering the Duster Cargo is a mild hybrid 155 powertrain, offering city punch and all-electric capability. Unlike current Duster variants, it does not offer a specific hybrid powertrain with a gasoline engine and two electric motors, or a mild-hybrid powertrain with a turbocharged gasoline engine. However, the Duster is available with various hybrid options, including the hybrid-G 150 4x4.
The Duster Cargo is priced competitively against rivals like the Ford Transit Connect and VW Caddy. With its tough build, practical cargo space, and capable powertrain, it's a strong contender in the light commercial vehicle market.
