In an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about the Digital Economy, Bitkom is seeking an Advisor on Data Economy (m/f/d). The ideal candidate will possess a quick understanding of complex issues and the ability to clearly and understandably present them. With proficiency in both German and English, you will provide expertise to journalists, create position papers and expert guidelines, and inform colleagues, members, and the public about current developments in the data economy.
Your responsibilities will also include managing and coordinating projects and themes related to the development of the German and European data economy, as well as organising and moderating expert events, conferences, and representing Bitkom in panel discussions or as a speaker.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be confident, persuasive, and have diplomatic skills, as aligning political positions with member companies and representing them towards politics and the public forms a significant part of the role. You will also require a hands-on mentality, organisational talent, and the ability to work independently.
With a background in fields such as economics, business administration, computer science, or communication, you will be particularly interested in data processing for new technologies, cooperations, and business models. You will also share Bitkom's commitment to driving digitalization in germany and keeping up with current political developments.
