DeCard Launches Premium Visa Card for Stablecoin Payments
DeCard by DCS has launched DeCard Luminaries, a premium Visa credit card that allows users to pay with their stablecoin balance. The card, introduced on September 30, 2025, in Singapore, offers exclusive global lifestyle and payment privileges, marking a significant step in making stablecoins practical for everyday commerce.
The card, a result of collaboration between DeCard by DCS and Visa, expands the original DeCard product. It provides cardholders with privileges such as 24/7 Visa Concierge services, two complimentary airport lounge visits annually, and travel accident insurance coverage of up to US$1 million. Additionally, it offers exclusive lifestyle rewards like special previews, curated events, and tailored offers.
The launch of DeCard Luminaries coincides with the growing global stablecoin market, which has more than doubled in size over the past two years. The card is accepted at over 150 million Visa-accepting merchant locations worldwide, providing users with a straightforward way to use digital assets in daily life. Currently offered in a virtual format, an exclusive premium metal card is set to be released soon. The card has an annual membership fee of USD388 and offers competitive FX rates and up to 10% cashback (capped at US$200 per month) with high spending limits.
The launch event for DeCard Luminaries took place at Token2049 Singapore 2025, with early members receiving a welcome package valued up to S$1,700. Visa's Country Manager for Singapore & Brunei, Adeline Kim, highlighted the collaboration, stating that it makes stablecoins practical for everyday commerce. DCS's COO, Joan Han, expressed support for Web3 professionals seeking a simple way to use digital assets in daily life.
