Get ready for a more seamless travel experience with the latest update to the Rejsekort app! This awesome update lets you bring your furry friends, bicycles, and a whole crowd along for the ride. Simply swipe to check in everyone with a single tap, even when you're hopping between different modes of transport.

Rejsekort & Rejseplan A/S, the operating company behind the app, has been quick to respond to user requests with this fantastic feature, which has long been available with the physical Rejsekort. According to Jens Willars, the company's director of customer services, "Our customer surveys show that many passengers have asked for the ability to check in children, friends, dogs, or bikes alongside their own ticket. This long-awaited feature makes the process quick and hassle-free."

Now, app users can check in up to 28 adults at once for one journey. That means you can travel in style with your whole family or crew without the hassle of checking in each person separately.

The update was rolled out in September 2024, making the Rejsekort app an essential tool for public transport users aged 18 and over. Say goodbye to swiping those clunky plastic cards—with the app, you can check in and out of journeys anywhere in the country directly from your phone.

As the physical Rejsekort is set to be phased out in 2026, the blue check-in sensors you might have seen at Danish bus stations and rail platforms will be disappearing too. But don’t worry, an alternative solution will be available for those who prefer not to use the app.

In addition to this major update, expect even more exciting features to be added to the Rejsekort app during 2025. You'll soon be able to check in as children, pensioners, or people with disabilities who are eligible for lower fares.

So go ahead, invite your friends, bring Fido, and get riding! Travel stress-free with the updated Rejsekort app. 🚀🐾🚲

Bonus Fact:
