The PTT Group, a leading energy conglomerate, is inviting individuals, students, startups, and entrepreneurs to join the PRISM Circular Hackathon 2025. Scheduled for the year 2025, this innovative event is aimed at revolutionising sustainable business through the circular economy, waste, artificial intelligence, and digital solutions.
Organised by the PTT Group, the PRISM Circular Hackathon presents a unique opportunity for participants to turn their innovative ideas into transformative new businesses. The goal is to harness creative ideas to add value from waste or used materials, and to design efficient systems for waste collection, sorting, and management to reduce costs and improve recycling processes.
Participants will take part in workshops and compete in the hackathon, with the winners receiving prizes totalling over 240,000 baht. The hackathon challenges participants to think differently and act decisively in three key areas: waste-to-value, waste collection and processing, and circular digital solutions.

The PRISM Circular Hackathon offers opportunities for creative business ideas with genuine potential for development. Past circular economy hackathons have seen successful waste-to-value innovations such as FlyUpCycle, SkinCycle, and Thermawise.
FlyUpCycle, for instance, converted organic food waste into high-protein animal feed using black soldier fly larvae, reducing food waste and supporting sustainable supply chains in insect farming. SkinCycle upcycled food production by-products into high-value cosmetic ingredients, while Thermawise developed an AI-driven platform for energy-saving solutions in building science.
