Dubai Introduces Live AI-Driven Business Registration System for Quicker Registrations
Dubai Introduces AI-Powered Business Registration Platform
In a move to redefine how companies launch operations in the Emirates, the International Free Zone Authority (IFZA) has partnered with Mastercard and Global Tax Assistant to launch an AI-powered business registration platform in Dubai. This groundbreaking initiative embodies Dubai's vision for a tech-first business ecosystem, aiming to make the emirate one of the world's top three business cities within the next decade.
The new platform streamlines and accelerates business formation for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs), integrating artificial intelligence throughout the entire registration process. This includes automating document submissions, verifying documents, completing forms automatically, and managing compliance checks to enable instant digital approvals. As a result, the setup time for new businesses is reduced from several days to mere minutes, significantly cutting bureaucratic delays and costs for entrepreneurs.
The platform's key features include AI algorithms that suggest optimal corporate structures and predict licensing needs, seamlessly facilitating faster and more accurate business setups. Global Tax Assistant enhances the process by providing automated tax compliance, while Mastercard integrates secure digital payment solutions and offers simplified, discounted business setup services for its cardholders.
The platform primarily targets SMEs, which constitute over 90% of Dubai’s businesses and more than 94% of UAE enterprises. This initiative aligns with Dubai’s Economic Agenda D33 and the UAE’s broader vision to become a leading global hub for entrepreneurship by 2031.
Jochen Knecht, CEO of IFZA, stated that the new platform allows brand names to register their companies with unparalleled speed and accuracy. The launch of the platform is a milestone in the city's push to become a global leader in smart government services, and it is expected to enhance Dubai's appeal as a startup hub, particularly for international founders seeking fast market entry.
Moreover, the platform is part of Dubai's broader strategy to integrate AI into key economic sectors by 2031. This pioneering public-private collaboration leverages advanced technology to make entrepreneurship faster, cheaper, and more accessible, thereby boosting Dubai’s competitiveness and supporting SME growth across the region.
