Egelhof Opens First European Factory in Poland
German company Egelhof Group, a specialist in expansion valves for e-mobility and air conditioning, has opened its first European factory in Radom, Poland. This move is part of the group's strategy to expand into European markets.
Egelhof, with 80 years of experience, chose Radom for its new facility. The city's stable labour market and lack of competition from global brands were key factors, as highlighted by Filip Deleżyński, director of logistics and industrial agency at Colliers. Katarzyna Bojanowicz, vice president of Bojanowicz Investments, praised the venture's favourable location and access to highly qualified staff in the manufacturing sector. Grzegorz Paluch, another director at Colliers, noted that BI Park Radom specialises in metal processing and expects a smooth launch of operations in September.
Colliers, an international real estate investment management company, advised Egelhof on site selection and lease negotiations for the new factory. The opening of the Radom facility marks a significant step in Egelhof's expansion into European markets.
