The charging plan includes three years of free charging on Electrify America stations, enhancing convenience and reducing charging costs in the early years of ownership. ID. Buzz owners will also benefit from Electrify America's Pass+ membership, which offers lower per-kWh rates compared to pay-as-you-go users, access to ultra-fast chargers, and priority support.
One of the standout features of this partnership is the Plug&Charge technology. This advanced feature enables the vehicle to securely communicate with the charging station to authenticate and start charging immediately upon cable connection, eliminating manual payment steps. This improves ease of use and reduces wait times at stations.
The ID. Buzz is compatible with 240V home charging installations, although Electrify America’s fast chargers are ideal for quick top-ups and road trips. The ID. Buzz charging plan includes 500 kWh of complimentary charging.
Electrify America's network spans over 3,500 DC fast chargers at 800+ stations across North America with charging speeds up to 350 kW. This means that the ID. Buzz can charge from 10% to 80% in about 26 minutes on a 200 kW DC fast charger.
