Emphasizing Quality Communications Innovations: Revolutionary tech powers QCI's latest product lineup
United States Focus: Pioneering Operational Intelligence in the Gaming World with QCI

The gambling universe quivered as Quick Custom Intelligence (QCI), the world's top player in real-time operational intelligence, turned heads with the groundbreaking QCI Enterprise Platform.
This burgeoning journey reached new heights at G2E 2024 with the arrival of AGI55, a masterpiece that amplified the power of advanced artificial generative intelligence (AGI) to revolutionize player development, marketing, and gaming operations.
Andrew Cardno, QCI's innovative Chief Technology Officer and co-founder, recognized the potential of integrating AGI capabilities throughout the platform. AGI55 gathers an arsenal of top-tier tools—QCI Go, QCI Dispatch, QCI Player, QCI Slots, QCI Host, and an overhauled QCI Marketing Suite—making it an industry powerhouse.
With over 3,000 new feature enhancements, including numerous patented inventions, the resulting platform stands unrivaled as the most comprehensive operational system on the market.
"For the past 25 years, I've put all my efforts into studying the links between mathematics, probabilities, and gaming databases," Cardno declared, the proud owner of the revered Gaming & Leisure Lifetime Achievement Award bestowed at G2E 2024.
This deep-seated interest led to a series of books co-authored with Dr. Ralph Thomas, including the remarkable "The Math That Gaming Made - Compendium," which explores the mathematical principles shaping the modern gaming landscape, right at the heart of QCI's data activation strategies.
"Data activation is crucial for player development teams to foster player engagement," Cardno insists. "QCI offers a customer-based perspective of the casino floor, shedding light on guests' experiences beyond just product performance. This is enabled through QCI Host, QCI Slots, and QCI Marketing."
"It answers the burning question: 'How can I collect and manage data alongside my marketing activities to forecast marketing impact and evaluate marketing programs against this prediction?' That, in essence, is the product we've created. The research behind it is elaborated in Book 11."
Cardno remains hard at work penning his twelfth book, planned for release during the 2025 Indian Gaming Tradeshow & Convention in San Diego, March 31 - April 3.
"We're genuinely thrilled about Book 12," he says. "This installment revisits old ground, asking 'What exercises go with this material?' 'What are the latest advancements?' 'How does generative artificial intelligence impact it?' Essentially, we have a refinement and expansion of our body of work in Book 12."
A laureate of two Smithsonian Laureate for Heroism Information Technology Awards, including one for research on heat mapping at Crown Casino in Australia, Cardno is keenly aware of technology's breakneck speed and the challenges in articulating it through books.
"The product now outpaces the writing," he admits. "Three years ago, it was the other way around. The big picture of our future goals regarding our core products is seeing QCI expand beyond its current 17 countries and 250 casinos, with over 500 sites globally.
"Our products continue to evolve rapidly, so we're reinvesting the success of the business in research and development to remain leaders in what we're doing, with a key focus on enhancing AGI capabilities."
In 2023, QCI unveiled its inaugural generative co-pilot, while Cardno mentioned another AGI agent, backed by Open AI, known as QCI Chatalytics. It represents an AI extension of Cardno and Dr. Thomas's analytical prowess.
"This cognitive offloading approach, where we teach a machine how to mimic a human's cognitive processing, has proven to be a significant milestone in 2025," Cardno explains. "We're exploring its applications in employee development, marketing, and igaming optimization. We're living in a New Age of technology, one that transforms the way machines and humans interact.
"For the first time in more than two decades, computers now handle the cognitive load that only humans could three years ago...and cognitive load means they can think for you. This cognitive offload entirely changes everything in the software industry I've worked in for 20 years. QCI is leading this charge."
Data-and-cloud-computing and technology have been key enablers in QCI's growth, as the company leverages advanced cloud infrastructure to deliver its QCI Enterprise Platform and AGI55, which harnesses artificial-intelligence capabilities to revolutionize gaming operations. Additionally, QCI's Chief Technology Officer, Andrew Cardno, is continually researching and integrating new AI technologies, such as QCI Chatalytics, to further enhance their products and maintain QCI's position as a leader in the data-and-cloud-computing and technology sectors.
