Enhanced Cloud Backup and Data Restoration Solutions for Microsoft 365 and Entra ID by Synco
In an exciting development, Syncro has launched a new component for its XMM solution – Cloud Backup. This addition, unveiled in April, has seen exponential growth and adoption since its launch.
This innovative solution allows Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to configure and restore backups for Entra ID infrastructure and various Microsoft 365 services such as Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams. By managing the majority of data protection services required by Microsoft SMB customers, Syncro's XMM solution is proving to be a game-changer in the industry.
Furthermore, Syncro has announced a new integration partnership with ThreatDown. This partnership allows MSPs to purchase ThreatDown solutions directly through the Syncro Marketplace, provision them instantly for clients, and consolidate charges through Syncro's billing model.
Kendra Krause, the new General Manager at ThreatDown, was recently welcomed by the company in August. The partnership between Syncro and ThreatDown is a testament to their commitment to the channel, aiming to empower MSPs with scalable cybersecurity solutions and the resources they need to protect their clients confidently.
The Syncro Cloud Backup solution offers customers a per-user, per-month fee that includes unlimited storage under a fair-use policy. Organizations can store encrypted data in Azure data centers located in the United States or Canada, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
New users are automatically added to the backup service, invoicing remains accurate, and MSPs can capture all revenue automatically. This streamlined approach not only enhances efficiency but also strengthens client relationships.
Vincent Williams, CEO and founder of Orchestrate Technologies, has praised Syncro's XMM, stating that it has been the linchpin of their growth strategy, allowing them to scale without adding overhead, serve clients faster, and keep pace with industry changes. The solution has also improved the efficiency of Orchestrate Technologies' technicians, enabling them to focus on meaningful work rather than repetitive tasks.
Identity systems, such as Microsoft Entra ID, are frequently targeted by attacks. Securing, backing up, and ensuring rapid recovery of Entra ID is a critical step for any company to recover from a breach. With the Syncro Cloud Backup solution, teams can quickly recover from data loss incidents with flexible, granular restores for everything from a single email or file to an entire business's Entra ID configuration.
A recent IDC survey showed that 60% of organizations reported they had experienced an unrecoverable data loss event within a SaaS application in the past 12 months. This underscores the importance of reliable data protection solutions like Syncro's XMM Cloud Backup.
The new Syncro Cloud Backup solution is now available in trial and will be generally available on October 1. For more information, visit the Syncro website or contact a Syncro representative.
