Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan, a leading Indian law firm, has made strategic additions to its team with the appointment of Amritha Salian and Gaurav Dayal as partners in their respective offices.
Amritha Salian, who specializes in private equity and venture capital investments, acquisitions, and commercial contracts, has joined the Bengaluru office. Salian previously served as an associate partner at Themis Associates. In her new role, she will offer advisory and assistance on compliance and law, and advise companies on their commercial contracts, strategy, and disputes.
Gaurav Dayal, with his expertise in cross-border and domestic acquisitions, foreign investments, and restructuring, has been added as a partner in the Corporate M&A practice area at the New Delhi office. Dayal was previously an AVP and associate general counsel at OYO.
The appointments follow the departure of Neeraj Dubey from the Bengaluru office of Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan. The firm has also recently promoted Syed Maqdum Peeran to an executive partner in Disputes in Bengaluru, and Gaurav Dayal to an executive partner in Corporate M&A in New Delhi.
