The Senior Game Designer will be responsible for creating engaging and innovative experiences for players, while ensuring the game is designed with Web3 technology in mind. This includes designing and overseeing gameplay mechanics that incorporate blockchain and Web3 elements such as NFTs, decentralized marketplaces, and player-driven evolution.
With a strong understanding of blockchain technology, smart contracts, and decentralized gaming economies, the Senior Game Designer will collaborate with developers, artists, and product teams to iterate on game concepts aligned with Web3 technology. The role also requires a data-driven mindset, as the Senior Game Designer will be expected to perform outstanding competitor benchmarks and apply key takeaways efficiently to the game.
In addition to technical skills, the Senior Game Designer should have at least 3 years of experience in Meta/Systems Design. They should also have excellent English communication skills, strong problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. The Senior Game Designer will be expected to create unique game concepts, characters, and storylines, and to mentor other team members.
The Senior Game Designer will participate in user testing and feedback sessions, and will contribute to the design of core meta systems. They will also be responsible for creating features from concept through implementation, and for creating design documentation to guide development.
