Ford Focus RS Wagon Transformed into 560 PS Beast by Enthusiast

Ford enthusiast Sven Dräbert has spent over six years transforming a Ford Focus RS Wagon (MK3) into a unique, high-performance vehicle. The project, dubbed 'Dräbert's Focus', faced significant challenges in maintaining balance and safety while integrating powerful components and optimizing the wagon's suspension and drivetrain. Auto Zeitung supported the project with expertise, testing, and media coverage.

The most daunting task was achieving a power output of 560 PS (412 kW), the highest ever for a Ford vehicle. Dräbert and his team tackled this by creating numerous custom parts, including a new cable harness, wide fender flares to accommodate larger wheels, and a handmade RS roof edge spoiler to enhance aerodynamics.

To ensure the wagon's handling matched its power, Dräbert worked tirelessly on the suspension and drivetrain. He optimized the layout to maintain vehicle balance and safety, a challenge compounded by the wagon's unique design. Auto Zeitung's experts provided invaluable guidance throughout this process.

Dräbert's Focus RS Wagon is not just a testament to his passion for Ford vehicles but also a remarkable engineering feat. With a power output that sets a new benchmark for Ford, and handling optimized for its unique layout, this wagon is a true one-of-a-kind. Auto Zeitung is proud to have supported and documented this incredible project.
