Funding Round Secured: Hypernative, a Web3 Security Company, Raised $40 Million in a Series B Investment Led by Ten Eleven and Ballistic Ventures

Hypernative, a leading Web3 security firm based in Tel Aviv, has successfully raised $40 million in a Series B funding round, co-led by Ten Eleven Ventures and Ballistic Ventures. The round also saw participation from StepStone Group, Boldstart Ventures, Quantstamp, and IBI Tech Fund, among others [1][2][3].

The new funding will enable Hypernative to expand its offerings, moving towards an end-to-end security platform for Web3. This expansion includes the development of fraud prevention and wallet-level transaction protection services, accelerating real-time security innovation, investing in high-quality training data for AI models, and growing its expert team for in-depth risk analysis and customer support [1][2][3].

Hypernative's AI-powered platform already monitors both on-chain and off-chain data using machine learning, heuristics, simulations, and graph-based detections to identify over 300 types of risks [1][3]. These risks range from smart contract hacks and phishing to bridge security incidents, market manipulation, and private key theft. The platform currently serves over 200 customers, protecting more than $100 billion in assets across exchanges, wallets, protocols, and asset managers [1][3].

The impetus for Hypernative’s growth comes amid rising security challenges in the Web3 industry. In 2024, the company detected over $2.2 billion in losses from hacks, exploits, phishing, and fraud—a 22% increase from the previous year [1][2]. The $1.4 billion Bybit hack in February 2025 exemplifies the scale of recent security failures, signalling a trend towards record-breaking losses across the industry [1][2].

Hypernative aims to provide a unified and comprehensive security solution to counter these growing threats and help enable mass adoption of Web3 technologies by reducing security barriers [1][2]. Gal Sagie, Co-founder and CEO of Hypernative, commented: "Web3 is at an inflection point, with clear regulation emerging and institutional adoption accelerating led by stablecoins and tokenized assets."

With this significant funding, Hypernative is poised to boost its AI-powered, real-time threat prevention services, address increasing security concerns threatening the Web3 industry’s growth, and contribute to a safer and more secure Web3 ecosystem.
