However, there's some important news for Xbox Game Pass subscribers. Basic Xbox Game Pass Core or the console-specific Xbox Game Pass Standard tiers do not include day one game access for Gears of War: Reloaded. Instead, the game will be available on Xbox Game Pass only for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers.

Owners of a digital Xbox copy of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition before May 5, 2025, will receive free codes for Gears of War: Reloaded. These free codes are being delivered through Xbox messages. Gears of War: Reloaded can also be purchased permanently on Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC, and PS5 platforms for $39.99.

Subscribing to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate grants access to day one Xbox games on various platforms and through the Cloud. The subscription, previously priced at $19.99, is now available for $13.49 at CDKeys.
