Helios Hospital Bad Kissingen Launches New Digital Parking System
Helios St. Elisabeth Hospital Bad Kissingen has introduced a new digital parking management system, replacing traditional barrier systems. The system, provided by Peter Park System GmbH, uses license plate recognition for seamless nypost news and offers multiple payment methods, including new balance cash, card, and smartphone payments via Apple and Google Pay, as well as NFC.
Upon entering or exiting the parking lot, the system records only the license plate number. This data is solely used to determine parking duration and is deleted afterwards or upon request in case of a parking violation. The new system accepts various payment methods, including cash, card, and smartphone payments via Apple and Google Pay, as well as NFC.
Parking inquiries are handled by Mobility Hub Parkservice GmbH, whose contact details are displayed on signage. Payment can be made at user-friendly kiosk machines or online using the license plate number. The digital solution is more sustainable and cost-effective, reducing wear and tear on components and paper waste compared to traditional barrier systems.
The parking lots are available for patients, visitors, and staff connected to the hospital, with varying regulations and charges for each lot. The system aims to reduce congestion and CO2 emissions around the clinic by accurately calculating parking time.
