Honda Unveils Two New Electric Scooters, CUV e: and Icon e:

Honda has introduced two new electric scooters, the CUV e: and the Icon e:, marking the 10th and 11th models in their global electric vehicle plan. The scooters are set to launch initially in Indonesia, with India following later this year.

The CUV e: is a 110 cc-equivalent electric scooter offering two swappable batteries and three ride modes. Top-spec variants will feature Honda RoadSync Duo for smartphone connectivity. Meanwhile, the Icon e: comes with a fixed lithium-ion battery, providing a range of over 50 km per charge. It also boasts a compact in-wheel motor, along with ample under-seat storage, additional luggage compartments, and a USB charging port.

Both scooters are part of Honda's commitment to introduce 30 electric models globally by 2030. While the CUV e: and Icon e: will initially be manufactured in Indonesia, the electric Activa, an electric iteration of the popular model, is expected to launch in India by the end of this year.

Honda's expansion into electric scooters continues with the CUV e: and Icon e:, offering innovative features and practical solutions. With initial manufacturing in Indonesia and planned launches in India, these electric scooters pave the way for Honda's global electric vehicle ambitions.
