Now, Deel is looking for a strategic and experienced leader to launch and oversee a newly established HR Operations function in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of building or scaling HR operations in fast-paced, high-growth companies. They will be responsible for establishing and scaling the HR Operations function in EMEA, ensuring it supports Deel’s global growth and maintains high standards of service.

The role involves strategic leadership, team management, and global alignment. The Associate Director will set regional HR goals, design operational frameworks, and align them with global company objectives. They will lead and develop senior HR team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. They will ensure local HR practices are consistent with Deel’s global culture, compliance requirements, and operational standards.

The Associate Director will also apply a strategic mindset to address complex challenges in a high-growth, international environment. They will directly influence Deel’s global expansion by developing HR operations from the ground up, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and a positive employee experience as the company continues to serve over 25,000 companies worldwide.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of international HR practices, compliance, and workforce management. They will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating across regions and levels. Adaptability is key, as they will be comfortable operating in a dynamic, scaling environment with evolving needs.

The role offers the flexibility of remote work, including optional WeWork access. Proven ability to lead and develop regional strategies aligned with business objectives and legal standards is essential. The role requires 14+ years of experience in global HR, Total Rewards, or Benefits operations management in a leadership or regional management capacity. HR or Benefits-specific certifications are preferred.
