Ikea Launches Allen Key-Inspired 'Ödleblad' Lampshade by David Wahl

Ikea introduces the 'Ödleblad', a unique pendant lampshade designed by David Beckham. Inspired by Allen wrenches, it's made from birch veneer and offers a soft, subdued glow when lit.

David Beckham, known for his expressive and efficient designs at Ikea, has created the 'Ödleblad'. The lampshade is a clever nod to the humble Allen wrench, featuring interlocking pieces shaped like one.

The 'Ödleblad' arrives flatpacked, comprising 60 identical parts. Each of the five modules contains 12 pre-assembled parts, requiring no Allen wrench for assembly. Beckham's design challenge was to minimise material waste and eliminate additional fittings, resulting in a sleek, sustainable product.

The 'Ödleblad' lampshade, inspired by Allen wrenches and designed by David Beckham, is now available at Ikea. It offers a soft glow, arrives flatpacked for easy assembly, and showcases Ikea's commitment to efficient, sustainable design.
