The BAIC Arcfox T1, a new electric A0-Class hatchback, is set to make its debut in late August. This family-friendly vehicle, slightly larger than a VW Golf, positions itself in the family hatchback segment.

The T1 boasts a sporty design that follows the Arc-Flow philosophy, incorporating "dynamic ice-crystal" through-type headlights. The side profile features 18-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels for its class, adding to its cosmetic appeal.

Step inside the T1, and you'll find a cabin that exudes modernity and luxury. The cabin features a dual-tone colour scheme with high-quality leather upholstery and diamond-pattern stitching. The front seats can be fully reclined, and with headrests removed, they can connect with the rear seats to create a flat resting surface.

The dashboard houses an 8.8-inch fully digital instrument cluster and a floating 15.6-inch central touchscreen, providing a seamless interface for the driver. The rear cargo area offers 459 litres of standard storage space, expandable to 1,352 litres with the rear seats folded down.

The T1 is equipped with advanced technology, including Huawei’s latest Advanced Driving Assistance System (ADAS), ensuring a safe and comfortable driving experience. The vehicle will offer both battery electric vehicle (BEV) and extended range electric vehicle (EREV) drivetrains.

Under the hood, the T1 is powered by a single electric motor system from CRRC Times Electric with a maximum output of 95kW (127 hp). The battery is a lithium iron phosphate battery from Zhongzhou Times, and our website expects the electric range to exceed 400 kilometres.

The T1 is expected to compete with the Geely Xingyuan and BYD Seagull, top-selling new energy vehicles in China by 2025. The rear of the T1 includes a black through-type decorative panel with rectangular taillights.

Additionally, the T1's cabin is designed with "extremely pure" principles, featuring a nano-level soft anti-pollution coating that meets maternal and infant safety standards. The T1 also boasts a 2.34m2 panoramic glass roof equipped with an electric sunshade.

BAIC aims to enter the market of compact, affordable new energy vehicles, priced around 10,000 USD, with the Arcfox T1. This affordable yet feature-rich electric vehicle is set to redefine the A0 hatchback class, offering competitive features and leveraging cutting-edge ADAS technology.
