Known Details Regarding Destiny 2's Edge of Fate Exotic Weapons and Armor

The highly anticipated Destiny 2 expansion, Edge of Fate, is set to launch on July 15, 2025, and it promises to deepen the gameplay experience with new Exotic armor and weapons. This expansion will kick off a new chapter for Destiny 2, offering players fresh opportunities to engage with elemental and Strand subclass mechanics.

For Warlocks, the Eunoia Gauntlets provide a significant boost to the Hellion Prismatic Aspect. Normally, Hellion's Solar Souls follow the player and shoot fireballs at enemies. With Eunoia, these fireballs transform into exploding mortar shells that burst on impact and send out seeking projectiles to track down additional enemies. This significantly increases crowd control and damage potential for Solar-centered builds.

Hunters will find the Moirai Chest Armor a valuable addition to their arsenal. Moirai enhances melee builds focused on Strand abilities. It allows Hunters to throw their Strand melee ability, Threaded Spike, at a Tangle to detonate it, damaging nearby enemies. Additionally, Hunters can then pull the Tangle back like a yo-yo, making it easier to reposition these objects strategically for damage or movement. This adds both offensive and tactical utility to the Hunter's Strand toolkit.

The Titan Exotic Armor, Menas Panoplia Gauntlets, is another exciting addition, though its specific abilities were not detailed in the search results.

In addition to these new Exotic armors, Edge of Fate also revamps many existing Exotics through the new Armor 3.0 system, providing standardized mod energy, new stat archetypes, and improved stat distributions, making many previously underused Exotics more viable in endgame activities.

Three new Exotic weapons have been confirmed so far. The Graviton Spike Hand Cannon comes from an Exotic Quest in Destiny 2 Edge of Fate. It is an Arc-based Exotic with an alt-fire mode that can switch between Arc and Stasis rounds. The Third Iteration Scout Rifle fires Void energy projectiles and narrows the spread when aiming down sights.

The New Land Beyond Sniper Rifle is another Exotic weapon and a pre-order bonus for the Destiny 2 Edge of Fate Year of Prophecy Ultimate Edition. This projectile marks opponents, dealing additional damage to marked targets, and granting invisibility and truesight upon killing the marked target.

Each class in Destiny 2 Edge of Fate will receive one piece of Exotic Armor, with each piece being uniquely powerful. The Moirai Chest, for example, combined with the Whirling Maelstrom Aspect, can trigger not one but two Maelstroms that spin around the arena and clear out scores of enemies.

The Edge of Fate expansion's Exotic weapons and armor are primarily obtained through the Season Pass, campaign completion, or Novel Focusing. Players are eagerly anticipating the launch of this expansion to explore these new additions and embark on a new chapter in Destiny 2.
