In the rapidly evolving world of cryptocurrency, Ethereum (ETH) is experiencing a surge in institutional interest, with corporate holdings surpassing the $10 billion mark as of late July 2025. This trend is marked by a significant increase in institutional holdings and a strategic focus on treasury asset management and staking rewards.

Leading this charge are two prominent companies, BitMine Immersion Technologies and SharpLink Gaming, which together have amassed over 833,000 ETH (approximately $3 billion) in just one month. BitMine Immersion, a leading Bitcoin (BTC) mining firm, has surpassed SharpLink Gaming to become the largest corporate holder of ETH, with its ETH reserves jumping an impressive 283.1% over the past 30 days.

BitMine Immersion's current ETH holdings, valued at over $2.9 billion, account for slightly more than 0.5% of ETH's total circulating supply. Following the announcement of their increased ETH holdings, BitMine shares rose 2.65%, trading at $32.52 at the time of writing.

SharpLink Gaming, the second-largest corporate ETH holder, currently holds approximately 521,939 ETH, valued near $1.9 billion. SharpLink's strategic commitment to ETH over Bitcoin was underscored by a recent significant purchase of 83,561 ETH (~$303.7 million), funded through equity raises.

Other top ETH-holding entities include The Ethereum Foundation, Coinbase, Bit Digital, and BTCS. The Ethereum Foundation, however, is being overtaken by these corporate entities as institutional interest in Ethereum continues to grow.

The Ether Machine ranks third with 334,800 ETH in ETH holdings, recently adding 15,000 ETH to its balance sheet. BTC Inc. has also announced plans to raise $2 billion to expand its crypto treasury, including ETH.

The current corporate Ethereum accumulation trend reflects Ethereum's maturation into a dual-role asset: a productive infrastructure token for decentralized applications and a strategic treasury asset offering staking rewards and inflation hedging potential. Post-merge innovations reducing circulating supply and the rise of Ethereum ETFs have further bolstered institutional confidence, making ETH a mainstream corporate asset.

In summary, Ethereum corporate holdings are surging, led by SharpLink, BitMine Immersion, and others. These companies are not only accumulating ETH for balance sheet diversification but also actively integrating it into operations, staking, and DeFi ecosystems, positioning Ethereum as a pivotal crypto asset in corporate finance globally.

At press time, ETH trades at $3,648, up 0.9% in the past 24 hours.
