Will the community run all validator nodes?
As we prioritize network security and stability, validator access will gradually expand. As transaction volume and user activity grow, additional slots will be opened to the community, nurturing global participation in securing and decentralizing our network.
Why are rewards only given for active validation, not standby nodes?
Although crucial for network resilience and scalability, standby nodes do not directly participate in the consensus process or transaction validation. Rewarding them without active involvement could create imbalances in the reward system. As our ecosystem matures, standby nodes will have plenty of opportunities to contribute and earn rewards. Get involved now to gain experience and accumulate SHM over time!
