Super Mario Party Jamboree Introduces Weekly Icon Element Refresh

Super Mario Party Jamboree, the latest addition to the popular Mario Party series, has introduced a weekly refresh of its icon elements, available for user profile customization on the Nintendo Switch system. This new feature allows players to keep their profiles fresh with new characters, backgrounds, and frames, obtained by redeeming My Nintendo Platinum Points.

The icon elements refresh every week, with each set available for redemption until August 20, 2025, at 6 PM PT. New waves of icon elements are released approximately once per week, following a similar rotation system to that used for Mario Kart World and other Nintendo Switch Online rewards.

To redeem the points, players need to access the Nintendo Switch Online "Missions & Rewards" app on their Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch 2 consoles. Eligible missions and frequent logins earn Platinum Points, which can then be used to claim Super Mario Party Jamboree icon parts during the event period. Each character icon costs 10 Platinum Points, while backgrounds and frames cost 5 Platinum Points each.

The current redemption period for the first wave of icon elements is from July 23 at 6 PM PT to July 30 at 5:59 PM PT, followed by Wave 2 from July 30 at 6 PM PT to August 6 at 5:59 PM PT, Wave 3 from August 6 at 6 PM PT to August 13 at 5:59 PM PT, and Wave 4 from August 13 at 6 PM PT to August 20 at 5:59 PM PT.

However, it's important to note that no official, detailed schedule for each particular wave’s release date has been provided publicly. Players are advised to check the Nintendo Switch Online app regularly to avoid missing any new icon elements.

A Nintendo Account is required to receive and redeem points for icon elements, and a Nintendo Switch Online membership is necessary for online features in Super Mario Party Jamboree. Terms apply for using a Nintendo Account to receive and redeem points, and the Nintendo Switch Online membership is not available in all countries. Internet access is required for online features.

Super Mario Party Jamboree offers over 110 minigames, both online and offline, providing endless fun for Mario fans. For more information, visit the game's official website.
