Navigating and Editing

  • Esc exits the 'Add to selection' mode.
  • Tab and Shift + Tab move the active cell left or right within a selection, wrapping to the previous or next row.
  • Enter moves the active cell down in the selection, wrapping to the next column.
  • Shift + Enter moves the active cells up in the selection, wrapping to the previous column.
  • F2 enters the cell edit mode.
  • Backspace and Delete delete characters to the left or right of the cursor, respectively.
  • Ctrl + Space selects the entire column.
  • Shift + Space selects the entire row.
  • Ctrl + A selects the current region if the worksheet contains data, and press again to select the current region and summary rows, and again to select the entire worksheet.

Formatting

  • Ctrl + B applies or removes bold.
  • Ctrl + I applies or removes italics.
