Luxury watchmaker Richard Mille debuts their first motorcycle, bolstering a 130HP masterpiece of artistry.
In an unprecedented collaboration, luxury watchmaker Richard Mille and iconic motorcycle manufacturer Brough Superior have joined forces to create the RMB01, a limited-edition motorcycle that merges horological precision with motorcycle design.
The RMB01, due for release at the end of 2025, is a masterpiece that embodies the spirit of both brands. It boasts a 997cc, water-cooled V-twin engine, producing 130 horsepower, and a 6-stage cassette-type gearbox with an APTC slipper clutch.
The motorcycle's chassis is a work of art, featuring a CNC-machined aluminum frame with a structural engine and a carbon forged exoskeleton. The front suspension is a Fior-type CNC machined aluminum fork, while the rear suspension is a CNC-machined aluminum swingarm. Both suspensions offer preload and rebound adjustments for optimal performance.
The RMB01's design is inspired by board track racers of the 1910s, but with a modern twist. It features an elongated tank, minimalist seat, and a fully exposed engine, machined from solid aluminum blocks. The engine's turbocharged version is a testament to Brough Superior's engineering prowess.
The RMB01's wheels are a nod to Richard Mille's watch designs, with lightweight alloy hoops and bolted hubs that resemble gear trains. The mechanical speedometer features visible gear assemblies, reminiscent of a skeletonized Richard Mille timepiece.
The RMB01 is limited to 150 units and will be hand-assembled in France over an 18-month period. It is available in three colourways: Nocturnal Sapphire, Selene Grey with orange details, and Pearl of Speed, a pearlescent white with red details.
