Meritus Texas Bolsters Leadership with Two Key Appointments
Meritus Texas has welcomed two new key members to its team. Sven Brandau joins as Director of IT and Systems Integration, while Lee Scoggins takes on the role of General Manager for the Houston area. These appointments come as the company continues to expand its footprint and leadership team.
Sven Brandau brings a wealth of experience from his previous roles at Praxair Distribution, Inc. and nexAir. In his new position at Meritus, he will oversee ERP systems, business systems, and technology stacks for the Meritus family of companies. His appointment was facilitated by Meritus Gas Partners.
Allen Jezouit, Vice-President of Product Management and Digital Marketing, stresses the importance of standardizing to one ERP system. This move aims to harmonize data and improve interrelation and benchmarking among partner companies. The expansion of Meritus Texas over the past three years, through strategic mergers and acquisitions in the Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston areas, has created a need for such standardization.
Lee Scoggins, the new General Manager of the Houston area, will lead the Gulf Coast Gases and Equipment team. Rodney Wray, President of Meritus Texas, warmly welcomes Scoggins, highlighting his excellent addition to the company's operations and people. Meritus Texas currently operates 17 branches and multiple fill plants, serving key industrial markets with around 120 employees.
With these strategic appointments, Meritus Texas continues to strengthen its leadership team and position itself for further growth. Sven Brandau's expertise in IT and systems integration, along with Lee Scoggins' operational leadership, will undoubtedly contribute to the company's ongoing success.
