Mobile network expansion efforts in the district are now being spearheaded by Dr. Anna Beck.
In a welcome ceremony held at the Grevenbroich town hall, Dr. Beck has joined the Rhein-Kreis Neuss and its municipalities. Landrat Hans-Jürgen Petrauschke and Marcus Temburg, head of the Department for Development and Landscape Planning, were present for the occasion.
Dr. Beck, an economist with years of expertise in telecommunications and digital infrastructures, has a proven track record of developing strategic solutions for businesses. Her focus lies in comprehensive engagement with broadband (fixed and mobile) and digital transformation.
With her extensive knowledge, Dr. Beck will be advising the Rhein-Kreis Neuss on all aspects of mobile network expansion. She will be responsible for optimising interfaces with mobile network and mast operators, supporting stakeholders in location determination and planning, and managing approval processes related to mobile network expansion.
In addition to her work with the Rhein-Kreis Neuss, Dr. Beck has provided advice to companies and institutions on relevant topics such as campus networks and regional structural development, considering the potential of digital processes. She has also created industry-economic recommendations for public institutions such as ministries at the state and federal levels, as well as the EU Commission.
Dr. Beck studied and earned her doctorate in economics in Berlin. Her expertise in the crucial future topic of fast connections promises to bring significant advancements to the digital infrastructure of the Rhein-Kreis Neuss and its municipalities.
