Unlike many traditional policies that lock homeowners into rigid yearly contracts, Monzo allows policy changes or cancellations at any time through the app with no additional fees. This accommodates life changes such as moving or adding high-value items without penalty.
Homeowners can manage their insurance, make claims over the phone, and soon will be able to initiate and track claims directly within the Monzo app, offering a seamless and transparent customer experience.
Monzo Home Insurance offers cover for damage to a home from floods, fires, subsidence, or natural disasters, up to £1 million. Customers are covered for damage and theft of belongings, inside and outside of the home, including replacement of locks and keys. Optional extras for higher value items, accidental damage, and home emergencies are available.
