Newcomer Hero introduces its HF Deluxe Pro model, priced at ₹73,550, featuring the advanced i3S technology
Hero MotoCorp, India's leading two-wheeler manufacturer, has expanded its lineup with the introduction of the HF Deluxe Pro. This new variant, available at Hero dealerships nationwide, offers several upgrades and improvements over other HF Deluxe models.
LED Headlight and Digital Console
The HF Deluxe Pro is the only model in the HF family equipped with a segment-first LED headlight, accompanied by a crown-style high-intensity position lamp. Additionally, it features a digital speedometer, known as the Horizon Console, providing clear, real-time information including a low fuel indicator.
i3S Technology and Efficiency Enhancements
The Pro variant comes with Hero’s i3S (Idle Start-Stop System), which enhances fuel efficiency by automatically switching off the engine during idling. The engine, mechanically similar to other variants, is equipped with low-friction components and tyres designed for reduced rolling resistance, aimed at improving fuel efficiency.
Enhanced Styling and Rider Convenience
The HF Deluxe Pro sports sharp, edgy body graphics and chrome highlights, giving it a fresh, bold, and premium appearance compared to the standard HF Deluxe models. It also includes an engine kill switch, service due indicator, pass switch, and LED taillights and turn signals, improving overall usability and safety.
Pricing and Positioning
Priced at around Rs 73,550 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the HF Deluxe Pro is positioned competitively close to the Hero Splendor lineup, reflecting its added features.
Karizma XMR Updates
In other news, the Karizma XMR lineup has seen some changes. The base variant has been discontinued, causing a significant price increase for the most affordable option, which now starts at ₹1.92 lakh. The lineup now consists of two versions - the Top variant and the Combat Edition - both of which now come with features that were previously exclusive to higher models.
The Karizma XMR Top variant and the Combat Edition now feature updates such as a digital instrument cluster, 18-inch front and rear wheels with tubeless tyres, and a 130 mm rear drum brake.
The HF Deluxe Pro, designed to improve rider convenience, fuel efficiency, and daily usability, marks a new addition to the entry-level commuter motorcycle segment from Hero. Meanwhile, the discontinuation of the base Karizma XMR may reduce accessibility for budget-conscious buyers.
The HF Deluxe Pro, a new addition to Hero's lineup, is the first to incorporate gadgets such as a segment-first LED headlight, a digital speedometer, and an engine kill switch. This model also utilizes technology like Hero’s i3S (Idle Start-Stop System), enhancing technology integration and fuel efficiency.
In contrast, the Karizma XMR lineup, although receiving updates such as a digital instrument cluster and larger wheels with tubeless tyres, may become less accessible due to the discontinuation of the base variant and a resulting increase in price. These updates have made previously exclusive features available on the Top variant and the Combat Edition.
