Outdoor Space Expansion, Digital Preview Showcasing, and Hydrogen Propulsion Focused Exhibition Scheduled for NUFAM 2025
Get ready for an exciting event in the commercial vehicle industry! NUFAM 2025, taking place from 25 to 28 September 2025 at the Karlsruhe Trade Fair Centre, will showcase a special emphasis on hydrogen propulsion and other renewable drives.
This year, NUFAM 2025 will introduce a new element to the event – the Hydrogen Engine Conference. Running for two days, the conference will delve into hydrogen as an alternative drive system.
In addition to the indoor exhibitions, NUFAM 2025 will also make use of the newly acquired outdoor area, the Peter-Gross-Bau Areal (PGBA). Spanning 90,000 square meters, this area offers optimal infrastructure with over 2,500 parking spaces and will be available to exhibitors for the first time during the event.
The Peter-Gross-Bau Area is designed for multifunctional use and is set to be a highlight of NUFAM 2025. Visitors can expect a special outdoor experience, with exhibitors showcasing large machines and vehicles. Other events, such as concerts and the "Recycling Aktiv & Tiefbau Live", are expected to regularly use the Peter-Gross-Bau Area in the future.
Apart from the Hydrogen Engine Conference, NUFAM 2025 will feature a wide exhibition spectrum, including vans, heavy trucks, workshop equipment, software, and alternative drives such as electromobility and hydrogen technology.
The event will attract around 400 exhibitors, with the Hydrogen Engine Alliance e. V. holding its annual meeting at NUFAM 2025. The Alliance, founded in January 2022, currently has 85 members from industry and research and will focus on procurement and distribution of hydrogen and regulatory framework conditions in European regulations.
In preparation for the fair, the NUFAM DAY 2025 was carried out as a digital event, aiming to address key industry topics and promote the exchange between exhibitors, visitors, and trade press outside of the trade fair period.
