In a significant move, global fintech platform Pine Labs has appointed Sameer Kamath as its next Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective August 2025. With over 20 years of experience in financial leadership positions across leading companies, Kamath brings a wealth of expertise to the table.
Prior to his tenure at Avendus Capital, Kamath served as the Director and Group Chief Financial Advisor at Motilal Oswal. He is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and has cleared Level II of the CFA program from the CFA Institute, USA. Kamath also holds a Post Graduation in Business Administration from NMIMS, Mumbai.
At Pine Labs, Kamath will be responsible for leading the global finance strategy, accounting, investor relations, and providing financial leadership across the group. His appointment comes as Pine Labs prepares for its initial public offering (IPO), making his extensive experience in building financial teams and driving performance key to supporting the company’s growth and innovation in fintech.
