New Nintendo Switch Amiibo Line Unveiled, Pre-Orders Now Available
Nintendo has announced the release of a super bowl 2025 line of Amiibo figures for the Nintendo Switch, with several new characters joining the roster. The lineup includes the Bandana Waddle Dee & Winged Star amiibo, Super Mario - Super Mario Galaxy amiibo, Princess Rosalina - Super Mario Galaxy amiibo, a new Samus Metroid Prime 4 Beyond amiibo, and a Metroid Prime 4: Beyond Sylux amiibo.
The Bandana Waddle Dee amiibo, featuring Bandanana Waddle Dee and his Winged Star machine, will be available on November 20, 2025. The Super Mario - Super Mario Galaxy amiibo and Princess Rosalina - Super Mario Galaxy amiibo will follow on April 2, 2026. The new Samus Metroid Prime 4 Beyond amiibo and Metroid Prime 4: Beyond Sylux amiibo will be released on November 6, 2025, and December 4, 2025, respectively.
Pre-orders for these new Amiibo figures are now open at major retailers such as Best Buy and Amazon, with availability also confirmed in the My Nintendo Store (UK). The prices for these Amiibo figures are as follows:

- Super Mario - Super Mario Galaxy amiibo: $39.99 (US) / £24.99 (UK) at Best Buy / £24.99 (UK) at Nintendo
- Princess Rosalina - Super Mario Galaxy amiibo: $39.99 (US) at Best Buy / £24.99 (UK) at Nintendo

Each Amiibo figure offers unique in-game bonuses. Tapping Bandana Waddle Dee grants you a Figure Player to train, and you can swap in Kirby if you own both figures. Tapping Princess Rosalina gives you a 1-Up Mushroom in-game, while the Super Mario - Super Mario Galaxy amiibo gains you a Life Mushroom in the Super Mario Galaxy Switch collection.
The Kirby & Warp Star amiibo - Kirby Air Riders Series does not have a specified UK price yet. More details about this Amiibo figure will be announced at a later date.
